About this policy
Less Stress is a breathing and general wellness app provided by Ivan Dotsenko (“we”, “us”). This policy covers the Less Stress iPhone app and this privacy website. You can use the app without creating an account.
We do not operate a server that receives your breathing history or reflections. The app does not include advertising or analytics SDKs, use tracking identifiers, connect to HealthKit, or provide cloud synchronization.
Your app data
The app saves the following information on your device so it can remember your choices and show your progress:
- Completed sessions: the practice, completion date and time, session length and number of completed breaths.
- Optional mood reflections you choose after a session.
- Preferences such as your selected practice, session length, voice and haptic settings, reminder time and onboarding progress.
Progress totals and streaks are calculated from these local records. We do not receive this history from the app and cannot retrieve it for you. Your operating system may include app data in device backups according to your settings; backups are separate from app-provided cloud synchronization.
Reminders and guidance
Daily reminders are optional. If you enable them, the app asks for notification permission and schedules reminders on your device. It does not register you with a remote push-notification service.
Voice guidance plays recordings bundled with the app. The app does not record your microphone. Haptic guidance uses your device’s vibration features.
Apple purchases
Apple handles payments for optional Less Stress Plus subscriptions. Through Apple’s purchase system, the app reads available products and transaction or subscription status to verify access, restore purchases and respond to renewal or expiration.
We do not receive your payment card details. Apple keeps and processes purchase records under its own policies. Removing local app history does not erase Apple’s purchase records or cancel a subscription.
See Apple’s Privacy Policy. Use of the app is licensed under the Apple Standard End User License Agreement.
This website and external links
This privacy page is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit, Cloudflare processes technical request information, such as your IP address, browser information, requested URL and request time, to deliver and protect the website. This does not send your in-app breathing history to Cloudflare.
We have not added analytics, advertising, tracking scripts or submission forms to this site. Cloudflare may use security-related technologies to protect its services. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy for its processing, international transfers and retention practices.
Links to Apple, breathing-practice sources or other external sites open services operated by others. Their own privacy policies apply. These providers may process information in countries other than yours.
Your choices and deletion
- Delete history: in the app, open You → Delete session history and confirm. This deletes completed sessions and saved reflections; your preferences and subscription remain.
- Change preferences: use the controls in You. You can turn off reminders there or in your iPhone’s notification settings.
- Remove local app data: delete the app from your device. Offloading the app may retain its data. Manage existing device backups separately in your device settings.
- Manage a subscription: use the subscription controls in your Apple Account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Local records remain on your device until you delete them or remove the app, subject to your backup settings. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal information, restrict or object to processing, request portability, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. Contact us to exercise rights concerning information we actually hold. We cannot access or delete your device’s records remotely.
